Easy Apple Cider Sangria Recipe

My Easy Apple Cider Sangria Recipe has been my newest drink of choice this Fall. Of course I sip on the virgin version, but as soon as this baby drops, I’m definitely adding the booze! It’s seriously delicious either way! Check out the easy recipe below. I really enjoy this sangria because it’s so easy…

I really enjoy this sangria because it’s so easy to throw together because essentially you’re just jazzing up ready made apple cider. If you don’t have apple cider on hand, then you can easily use apple juice and just double up on the cinnamon sticks.

What alcohol mixes are good for Apple Cider Sangria?

  • Caramel Vodka
  • Chardonay
  • Reisling
  • Bourbon
  • Cinnamon Vodka

What fruit is best for Apple Cider Sangria?

Honestly when it comes to sangria, sky’s the limit. You really can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. Also keep in mind that you can add herbs to your sangria as well. Here are my favorites for this particular recipe.

  • Red Apples of choice
  • Green Apples of choice
  • Pear of choice
  • Grapes
  • Figs
  • Fresh Thyme
  • Fresh Basil

How long should you soak your sangria?

When it comes to sangria, just always keep in mind that the longer you allow the fruit to soak, the more flavor and/or booze will go into the fruit. I personally like to let mine sit for 3-4 hours minimum, but you are just fine if it sits for at least an hour.

If you enjoyed this recipe, then I’m fairly sure that you will also enjoy my Hot Caramel Apple Cider.

  1. Very festive and perfect for fall. I saw the note about adding figs and bourbon as options. I’ll have to try that.

    • You have to try the virgin version above, I’ve been enjoying it this pregnancy and it still hits the spot! Delicious!
