Chipotle Restaurant Inspired Quesadilla

February 20, 2023 Uncategorized

Moms, cooks, and chefs of all backgrounds will be delighted to know that restaurant-style fare can be at our fingertips with just a few key ingredients. And there’s no better way to delight everyone in your family than whip up a Chipotle Restaurant inspired quesadilla. This cheesy entree is sure to become one of your go-to dinner staples for its convenience and deliciousness! With savory flavors coming from chipotle marinated beef—and the warm melty cheese you already love—this quesadilla packs bold flavor into every bite. Getting dinner on the table has never been more mouthwatering or easier!

What ingredients do you need to make Chipotle Quesadillas?

  • Chipotles
  • Sirloin, Flank, or Skirt Steak
  • Salt
  • Smoked Paprika
  • Cumin
  • Lime Juice
  • Olive Oil

How do you make Chipotle Restaurant Inspired Quesadillas?

  • In a food processor or blender, puree your chipotles in adobo sauce.
  • Continue to blend in all of your seasonings, garlic, and olive oil until fully combined.
  • Place the steak (uncut) in a freezer bag along with your marinade and let it chill for 30 minutes up to 24 hours.
  • Place sliced peppers and onions in a hot skillet and saute until tender. Sit to the side.
  • When you’re ready to make your quesadillas, cook your steak to your desired temperature on a stovetop, oven, or grill.
  • Let your steak sit for about 5 minutes before cutting into cubes or slices.
  • In a large hot skillet, place a tortilla.
  • Place about 1/3c of steak, peppers and onions, and shredded cheese on half of the quesadilla.
  • Flip the empty side of the tortilla to close the quesadilla. Cook for about about 90 seconds before flipping to the other side.
  • Once both sides are golden and crispy, remove from heat.
  • Enjoy immediately.

When you’re in the mood for some Mexican inspired food, but don’t want to leave the house or spend a lot of money, try making these quesadillas. You probably have most, if not all, of the ingredients already in your kitchen. They come together quickly and taste even better than those from Chipotle restaurants. Plus, you can control how spicy they are, depending on your preference. When you make them, be sure to tag me on social media–I love seeing what my readers create!
