Oh my gosh you guys! Hollister had his very first playdate with his gal pal Isabella, and it was truly fun, delicious, and seriously the cutest thing ever! (ad) My friend Luisa from @PeachestoPearls and I had been dying to hang out with our newest littles for a while now. We decided a chic little picnic would be the perfect way to catch up. As busy women who are balancing family and work life along with everything else, we knew that @aldiusa would be the best place to get everything we needed for our picnic. From the ingredients for my Caprese Chicken Salad (from yesterday’s reel), our charcuterie board, to the Little Journey baby food, and even the flowers, ALDI literally covered all of our needs. Since our babies are so busy and keep our hands full, it was a breath of fresh air to just run into @aldiusa to grab everything that we needed from one place, without breaking the bank. I’m just going to go ahead and ask, because I genuinely want to know. How many of y’all are really truly making breakfast from scratch? If you do, how many times a week are you doing this? Also, are you prepping? And when you say you’re making breakfast from scratch, are you making eggs, a protein, and toast or are you baking bread and making pancakes and waffles? I’m asking because as always, I really want to get to know you guys better. Not only will this allow us to build relationships with you, but it allows me to create Content that you can actually use. So, I don’t want to be up here sharing a whole bunch of banana bread and waffle recipes with you, if you really are not going to make it. I’d rather give you some recipes and techniques that you can actually use and that will flow better with how you operate on an everyday basis. Ultimately, I want to give you content for where you’re at now, AND for where you want to be.

Cheers to the WEEKEND!!! Any special plans this weekend? I am finally HOME in Virginia Beach and it feels nostalgic and peaceful. The last time we were here, we came to lay my uncle to rest, and I only had 2 kids at the time. Kobe died that same week and then it just seemed like life changed forever. So, being here is emotional but I’m so thankful to be back. I’m finally spending time with my family and giving them the attention that they deserve and need. And I’m super excited because my extended family will finally be able to meet baby Hollis. So, if I’m silent on social platforms for a while, just know that it’s for good reason. Ya girl is living in the moment and cherishing it! 💖 Have a great weekend everyone! #VaStandUp #2up2down

I’m just excited that this year I can enjoy boozy desserts with you guys!! Caramelized Grilled Pineapple with Brown Sugar and Grand Marnier is my all-time favorite Summer dessert, but since it’s officially grill season, let’s just enjoy it now! As soon as we are done grilling our entrees, we just throw this marinated pineapple on the grill and top with vanilla bean ice cream! #ad Since Hollister graced us with his presence, I have been on a true journey to optimizing my time each day. To do this, I am steadily learning that I must accept help whenever it’s available. I use this method with work, my family, everyday life, and especially mealtime. @neareastproducts Couscous is definitely one of the items in my “keep pile” while doing my pantry spring cleaning! I love to use Near East Couscous to complement any of the meals that I make for a weeknight dinner. Near East Couscous comes in an assortment of flavors and each have the best fluffy texture that makes you want to dive in. Best part is that it’s as convenient as it is delicious because it cooks in five minutes!

First off, I want to apologize for not showing you my BLT Sheet Pan Salad with Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing sooner. I’ve been sitting on this recipe for a while, because a part of me thought that since it was so simple to make, you would be unimpressed. But then I served this salad a few weeks ago to some friends, and they loved it so much that they insisted I share with everyone. So, here we are. (AD) But honestly the highlight of this salad is not necessarily the ingredients, it’s the Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing. I make it with my Enfinigy Personal Blender by @zwilling_usa, which you may have seen when I make my morning smoothies on insta stories. It’s my new favorite kitchen gadget that I just can’t get enough of. It’s powerful, chic, and comes with a convenient sip top.
