Strawberry Basil Rose Sangria

This refreshing pink sangria is the perfect blend of berry flavors and herbaceous notes that will keep you wanting more. Pair with either tequila or white rum to add a little kick, and you are sure to fall in love. This easy Berry Basil Sangria recipe can be made in advance for entertaining or day of.

Although this Berry Basil Sangria is great to enjoy all year long, especially during the Spring and Summer months, I always love to prepare it around this time of year. With Valentines Day right around the corner, this pink cocktail is the perfect festive way to say, “I Love You”.

What ingredients do you need to make Berry Basil Rose’ Sangria?

  • Your favorite Rose’
  • Tequila or Rum
  • Sparkling Water
  • Optional Simple syrup
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Basil

Berry Basil Rose Sangria

Ingredients

Scale

1 Bottle of your favorite rose’

1/2 Pint Fresh Strawberries sliced

1/2 Pint Fresh Raspberries

1 Handful of Fresh Basil

4oz Agave Tequila or White Rum

1–2oz of Simple Syrup (optional)

12oz Sparking Water

Extra strawberries and basil for garnish


Instructions

In a large pitcher muddle your berries, liquor, and optional simple syrup.

Clap your basil to awaken it’s flavors, then add to the pitcher.

Stir in your bottle of rose’.

Top with Sparkling Water and give one more good stir.

Serve immediately or let it marinate in the refrigerator for more robust flavors.

Garnish with strawberries and basil.
