How to Make Brown Sugar Bacon

April 26, 2017 Food + Recipes

http://https://youtu.be/dCOQsGzAobA

Ingredients

Thick sliced bacon

Brown Sugar

Pre-heat your oven to 375. Use a large cookie sheet to cook this bacon.

You must use thick sliced bacon for this to work. If you can’t find it in your meat section at the grocery store, check with the butcher.

Lay slices of bacon on your cookie sheet. Make sure the bacon does not touch.

Cook bacon for 10-12 minutes.

When the bacon starts to brown and   edges begin to curl, it’s time to add the brown sugar.

Sprinkle generous amounts of brown sugar over each slice of bacon. Then return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Take bacon out of oven and transfer to a cooling rack.

Let bacon cool.

Done!

Tips

  • I prefer pork, but thick sliced turkey bacon is acceptable.
  • Do not cook this bacon on top of a rack. Trust me, it’s not as glorious!
  • I use applewood smoked bacon, but any bacon will do.
  • Bacon will get crispier and crunchier as it cools.

Come on into the world of Rosalynn Daniels! It’s Come on into the world of Rosalynn Daniels! It’s a new year and there’s lots of new faces here, so I’d love to reintroduce myself and give you 3 facts about me. Please share an unknown fact about you too.

I’m Rosalynn Daniels, a lifestyle expert and content creator. I focus on sharing sophisticated recipes that are enjoyable to the whole family, entertaining tips, and lifestyle inspiration. Get use to seeing my husband and kiddos from time to time as well (they love the camera). I try to post daily between 8:30 & 9:30 am or pm. 3 things that you may not know about me:

1. I like curated things, but that doesn’t mean my life is curated. I live a regular life like everyone else, I just like to make the best out of every single part of it.
2. I’m a military brat. Navy specifically. I credit this to being able to quickly adapt in most situations.
3. I was a theater kid, and proud of it. No matter what school I was in, I always gravitated towards the theater and performing arts department. As an adult, I still enjoy performing. Now more so in front of the camera. My kids are little performers too, and it just makes my heart melt.

Thank you for being here and joining my journey. I hope that I can introduce you to some new things along the way.💖🙌🏾✨
