Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo and Chicken Foldable Tacos

May 2, 2019 Easy Meals, Entertainment, Food + Recipes, Uncategorized

If you enjoy eating tacos with the family, but you don’t enjoy the mess that comes along with it. Especially if you have toddlers who are still learning how to get food into their mouths. Fret no longer, because I have the perfect remedy to solve that messy problem. In this post, I am going to show you my game changing recipe for Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo, and Chicken Tacos made with CHI CHI’s Foldable Tortillas.

  • Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo and Chicken Foldable Tacos

First order of business is to let you know that this is a sponsored post. CHI-CHI’s® Brand is passionate about creating fun and festive occasions with its delicious Mexican foods, including crowd-pleasing salsas, tortillas, and chips. So, they made it super easy to create a recipe with their products because they’ve pretty much done all of the hard work.

  • Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo and Chicken Foldable Tacos

CHI-CHI’S FOLDABLES® Tortillas aren’t your average tortillas. Sure, it’s the perfect ride for your tacos and burritos. But, it’s also so much more. Fill yours with breakfast, lunch, dinner—and everything in between. It closes tight so you can keep your tasty creation with you on the go. Mess free.

When it comes to CHI-CHI’s FOLDABLES Tortillas, they are the newest star of our kitchen. Mainly because you can stuff them with any of your favorite ingredients, and it doesn’t matter if they are savory or sweet. I swear to you that they are extremely versatile. For instance, one night I made my Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo, and Chicken Foldable Tacos. Then the very next morning, my husband Harvey used the leftover tortillas to make us egg and cheese breakfast pockets.

What I love most about CHI-CHI’s FOLDABLE tortillas, is that the kids enjoy eating them. They’re just so easy to hold and you don’t have to worry about anything falling out. My youngest is only 1 year old, so he’s at a stage where he eats constantly and is determined to feed himself. With these, he can feed himself and it gives me confidence that more food will make it to his stomach, rather than the floor.

  • Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo and Chicken Foldable Tacos

The perfect celebration doesn’t require a lot of time or money to plan—just tasty food, lively entertainment and, of course, friends and family. So, I decided to make a sweet and savory taco recipe that would be perfect to have at your next Cinco de Mayo party, or for any gathering during the upcoming warm Summer months.

CHI-CHI’s® products are made from quality ingredients, including real tomatoes, vegetables, and flavorful seasonings. Its line of Fiesta Style Salas includes Smoky Chipotle, Roasted Tomato and Chile Tomatillo Verde.

  • Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo and Chicken Foldable Tacos

To complete this dish, I like to dip my Easy Sweet Corn, Tomatillo and Chicken Foldable Tacos into CHI CHI’s Smoky Chipotle Salsa. This increases flavor and takes your dish to the next level. If you want to cool down some of the spice, just dip it into plain greek yogurt as well.

Tips for the perfect CHI CHI’s Foldable Tortilla

  • Don’t be afraid to add a lot of filling.
  • Make sure the last tab of the tortilla, locks under the previous tab and over the first tab. This will ensure a secure pocket.
  • Get creative with your fillings.
  • Use a store bought rotisserie chicken to cut down on cooking time.

Midweek check-in: how’s everyone doing? I think Midweek check-in: how’s everyone doing? I think one thing that’s consistent for almost everyone, is that most of us are experiencing some pretty cold weather here in the US. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has lost their gas and electricity recently. Please stay bundled up with lots of layers, if possible. We’ll be doing the same over here, and if I can gather up the energy, I’ll be getting cozy with a hot cup of cocoa or tea.

Happy Valentines Day from The Daniels Crew💖💙 Happy Valentines Day from The Daniels Crew💖💙❤️ We started celebrating early with funny and intense stories over Valentines cake for the kids, that I showed in my stories yesterday. A lot of you asked who made the cake, and it was from the talented @justnotthecakes. (FYI, you’re viewing the very first Daniels Party of 5 photo. You guys didn’t warn me that it’s nearly impossible to get all 3 kids in the photo at once. Let alone have them all looking into the camera. Finally, we got one good shot together🥰 but the rest had to be apart🤷🏾‍♀️ I’m hoping it gets better with age?😩)
Confession: I think I enjoy celebrating Valentines Confession: I think I enjoy celebrating Valentines this year more than I did Christmas. I don’t know, maybe it’s because the kids have really been into Valentines this year. Or, it could be the fact that I felt the need to make it super special since it’s yet another holiday during a pandemic🤷🏾‍♀️ Either way, it was nice to decorate this year and have daily goodies for the kids and the hubs😉 Swipe through to see how I easily got our Valentines decor together.

Do you guys enjoy seeing entertaining decor content from me? If so, I’ll start to make it more detailed so that you can do it at home too💖
