#Ad I’m sorry, but these Brilliance Glass Storage Containers by @Rubbermaid have been the gift that just keeps on giving! Now that we’re knee deep into the holiday season, it is such a breath of fresh air to have storage containers that are versatile and can make my life easier. For instance, to prep for Thanksgiving, I made my Sweet Potato Souffle in my large Brilliance Glass container the night before. On Thanksgiving Day, I just popped it in the oven (since it is oven-safe glass) and focused on my other day-of dishes. IF (and that’s a big IF) there are ever any leftovers, I can just take off the lid and reheat in the oven or open the lid vents and reheat in the microwave. So, I am essentially getting 3 different uses from 1 container, what more can a gal ask for? Happy #TurkeyDay from my family to yours! These last 12 months have solidified that my little family is all that I need in this life other than God, and I’m perfectly okay with that. I am forever grateful for my husband Harvey and my genius babies, Harper, IV, and Hollister, who keep me grounded in what really matters in life. As we gather today for Thanksgiving, I also want to challenge you to remember the true history of this day, and do your part to make a change. Have a beautiful day everyone!

#EasySideAlert! My Rosemary Potato Au Gratin is the perfect dish to make if you want to impress your guests, but you’re not trying to put too much into it. (#ad) Because I use @ParmigianoReggianoUSA when making this Au Gratin, you know that the sauce is next level. Remember when purchasing your Parmigiano Reggiano, make sure you keep an eye out for the dots on the rind, so you know that you got the right cheese. Here’s how I make it:
Ingredients Needed
5-6 Large Russet Potatoes 6 Sprigs of Rosemary
Thinly slice your potatoes to about 1/2 of an inch with a sharp knife or mandolin. In a large bowl, toss with seasonings.
Place potato slices vertically in a large skillet or casserole dish.
Sit to the side.
To prepare your cheese sauce:
In a medium saucepan over medium low heat, melt butter, sliced shallots, and garlic.
When the butter starts to slightly brown, stir in heavy cream.
Stir in fresh grated Parmigiano Reggiano, rosemary, and seasonings until a creamy sauce is created. Turn off heat.
Pour cheese sauce evenly over sliced potatoes.
Bake for 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

Enjoy immediately.

Listen, the holidays are coming up and It has me in full cooking mode. (ad) I’ve been cooking up a storm, and have been using @Rubbermaid EasyFindLids™ with SilverShield® to store my food. First off, can we please talk about the color? I absolutely love how it goes with the color palette in my kitchen. Not only do these containers look great, but the SilverShield® antimicrobial technology in them that uses small amounts of silver ions to help prevent the growth of odor-causing bacteria. You guys, this helps so much when I roast my easy Brussel Sprouts because it hides the not so pleasant smell that those delicious little veggies often produce. Now you can enjoy them without worrying about your leftovers smelling up your fridge. Here’s my recipe for my Roasted Brussel Sprouts:

Ingredients

2 lbs Raw Brussel Sprouts
2 Tbls Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tsp Kosher Salt
1 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Rinse off brussel sprouts
Dry off completely to avoid steaming
Peel off outer skin from brussel sprouts
Cut brussel sprouts in half
In a large bowl, toss brussel sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper
Lay brussel sprouts cut side down on a large edged pan or cookie sheet
Place in the oven for 30 minutes
About half way through (15 minutes) give the pan a shake to make sure that the brussel sprouts don’t stick to your pan.
Once the 30 minutes is up, take out of oven and top with your favorite toppings

Looking back throughout my years of entrepreneurship, I have learned to embrace the ebb and flow of it all. It’s an endless cycle of trying imo. Even when things work, at some point you still want to take it to the next level. Sometimes it’s a a lose, and sometimes it’s a complete win! As an entrepreneur you just have to keep going and keep trying, until you hit your ultimate goal. The one thing that I think every entrepreneur needs to remind themselves of from time to time is that,
