How To Make A Diy Canvas Vision Board

January 10, 2018 Uncategorized

Happy New Year everyone! To kick off the year with an awesome start, I wanted to show you how to make a sturdy vision board that will last you for at least the next 11 months. Canvas vision boards are awesome because they’re a major upgrade from the typical cardboard options that people tend to use. They are much sturdier and really easy to personalize, I also love canvas boards because they’re dependable and allow you to focus more on your goals, rather than focusing on them eventually becoming a cardboard eye sore and possibly falling apart.

I came up with the idea for Canvas Vision Boards last year. I decided to throw a Vision Board Party to kick off the year for a mommy group that I used to be in when I lived in California. It was such a big hit that I just had to share with you how easy it is to put together.

What is a Vision Board you ask? Turns out, not one woman in the group had a clue of what a vision board was. I was so surprised because when I lived in Georgia, Vision Board Parties were such a big thing, that I assumed everyone knew what it was. This was a great reminder that people are so different and have traditions that vary from community to community, city to city, state to state, and country to country.

A vision board is a board that you place photos on or items that represent goals that you would like to accomplish in a certain amount of time. It’s said that when you write down your goals, you are more likely to accomplish them because you see it and are able to visualize yourself doing it. A vision board basically has the same concept. Place your board somewhere that you will see it constantly. I always hang mine in the bathroom….that way there’s no escaping it. Over time you will start to see that you start to accomplish your goals. Just make a mental note to check on your progress every other month or so.

You will need:

16X20 Canvas Board

4Ft Ribbon

Hot Glue Gun

Tape
