  • Author: Rosalynn Daniels

Ingredients

Scale

1.52lb Salmon (skin on)

2tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2tsp Cajun

2tsp Garlic Powder

2tsp Old Bay Seasoning

1 lemon, sliced

24tbs Hot Honey

Instructions

Pre-heat your grill or oven to 425 degrees.

After cleaning your salmon, pat dry with a paper towel.

Divide the olive oil and seasonings, then lather on both sides of the filet.

Place slices of lemon on top of your filet.

Place your salmon skin side down on the hot grill.

Cook without moving for 15 minutes.

Rub hot honey on the flesh of the filet.  (If you are using a tool that will allow you to do so,  flip your filet, and lather with more hot honey.)

Flip once more , skin side down, and let cook for 1-2 more minutes. (skip this step if you do not have proper tools.)

Once your salmon reaches 135 degrees, take off of the grill.

Serve with a drizzle of extra hot honey.
