1lb vegan beef substitute
1/2lb vegan sausage
3-6c shredded mozzarella
8oz vegan ricotta
16oz of your favorite marinara sauce
1 small onion chopped
1/2 small green pepper
1/2tbs minced garlic
1tbs fresh parsley minced (dried parsley optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Boil lasagna noodles until aldente.
In a large skillet heat oil of choice at medium heat. Saute onions, green peppers, and garlic.
Add vegan meats to the skillet and break apart until it is resembles ground meat or meat crumbles.
Add salt and pepper and mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Add marinara sauce, sugar, and parsley to your meatless mixture and give it a good stir.
In a large baking pan, start to layer ingredients in this order: noodles, meat mixture, shredded mozzarella, ricotta. Layer until your ingredients are gone.
Top the lasagna with large round slices of mozzarella (optional).
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
