Shrimp & Sausage Creole


  • 1tbs Olive Oil
  • 14oz Smoked Sausage
  • 1 Diced Green Pepper
  • 1 Diced Onion
  • 2 Diced Celery Stalk
  • 1 Minced Garlic Clove
  • 1tbs Creole Seasoning
  • 28oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • 14.5oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1tbs Pepper
  • 1/2tbs Sugar
  • 1lb Raw Shrimp
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Parsley


  1. Warm olive oil over medium-high heat
  2. Add sausage and cook until meat starts to brown
  3. Stir in “Holy Trinity” (Green pepper, onion, and celery)
  4. Stir in Garlic
  5. Add Creole Seasoning
  6. Stir until seasoning is evenly distributed
  7. Lower temperature to medium and stir in crushed tomatoes
  8. Stir in tomato sauce
  9. Stir in pepper and sugar
  10. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10 minutes
  11. Turn off heat and add shrimp to the dish
  12. Stir in fresh parsley
  13. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes or until shrimp are firm and have reached a pinkish orange color (This is when you will know that the shrimp are fully cooked)
  14. Done!
