Easy Instant Pot American Goulash made with hearty tomato beef broth, elbow noodles, few veggies, and seasonings. This delicious one-pot meal would be ready in less than 20 minutes making it the perfect weeknight recipe.
1lb ground beef, lean
4 diced garlic cloves
1 large onion, diced
1 large green pepper, diced
1tbs seasoned salt
2tsp black pepper
2tbs Worcestershire sauce
30oz tomato sauce
28oz smoked diced tomatoes (plain is ok)
16oz box of elbow noodles
Set your Instant Pot to “saute” mode
Add ground beef, onion, green pepper, garlic. Fully cook the meat, there shouldn’t be any pink.
Drain any access fat.
Stir in worcestershire sauce, seasonings, tomato sauce, and diced tomato, and elbow noodles.
Place the instant pot lid on pot and lock.
Set pressure timer to 4 minutes on high pressure.
Safely do an immediate quick release and wait for the float valve to go back down.
Top each serving with shredded cheese.

- some models will start the 4-minute countdown almost immediately and others may take 12-15 minutes to reach the pressure level and then the 4 minutes will start.
